Our pictures are made from vintage Bartholomew maps and atlases dating from the 1900 – 1950’s. Each picture is carefully handmade using genuine vintage maps; these maps are real maps and not print outs or photocopies.
This handmade bespoke personalised original vintage map picture is created using a location special to you. People have chosen locations from where they are from, where they met, where they got married or simply where they live. The choice is yours!
The map is displayed in a heart mount and will look beautiful in your home or makes a wonderful and unique wedding, anniversary, house warming or birthday present for your friends and family.
The picture comes with a range of messages or can be made without a message. Alternatively it can be personalised with any message – for example for a wedding gift you can include the couple’s names & date of wedding to commemorate their special day. If you would like your own message please select the “Personalised message” option and then enter your personalised message.
We can also make pictures for anywhere in the world but since the type and scale of our maps and atlases vary please contact us first at shop@miamiadesigns.com. We will then check our maps and send you proofs for you to choose.

Due to the nature and age of the vintage material used, sometimes a tiny crease or mark might be present on a map – this is all part of the charm.
The picture comes framed in a white shadow box frame with ivory coloured mount all ready to hang but can also be free-standing.
Map size: The heart is approximately 12 cm tall and 12 cm wide.
